This year my OH and I decided to not buy each other gifts for Christmas, as we were already splashing out on our upcoming japan trip (so exciteeeddd!) and we were watching our finances. Also, when we tend to buy gifts for each other, we tend to go all out, so we knew the only way to keep finances under control was to bypass this whole gift-giving ordeal. However, that didn’t last long, so we decided to purchase a few BDSM toys so that way, we could both enjoy them.
So, here is what we got (all of these were purchased by us).
Can you believe that this is my first ever gag? Yeah, I know, me neither! It occur to me while browsing the Love Honey website, that I have a million and one toys but there are a few BDSM staples that I do not own – one of them being a gag! When I am topping a scene, the sub always have their own, and when I am a sub, I am rather quiet, so I guess there was never a need for one. But yet, I really should own one, cause you never know what may tickle my fancy.
This gag is silicone (I don’t understand why people would go for hard plastic) and is 5.5inches wide, so not one for beginners, but more for intermediate level as it does stretch your mouth quite a bit. The straps is faux suede with a beautiful red lace, so it sits very comfortably on the skin. Trying it on, it felt very comfortable, but I will revert back once I have had it on for a scene.
2. Sliquid Organics Natural Sensation Lubricant
Another Lovey Honey purchase (I have unlimited free delivery, can you tell?) and this is I really like. It is a small (60ml) bottle of lubricant that feels cold at first, and then warms up once you rub it. We used it as part of a massage scene we did a few days ago, and the feeling was incredible. A small amount goes a long way and it has a pleasant smell.
3. Bondage Boutique Adjustable Nipple Clamps with Double Chain
Last from the Love Honey order was another item I was jet to own. I have used a fair share of nipple clamps in the past, but never actually owned one so this caught my eye as it has the double chain which looks aesthetically pleasing (to me). The grip is quite strong on this one, but you can control it which is nice. It doesn’t have the option to add weights to them, but the chains are quite on the heavy side as it is, so this is definitely not an entry level clamps.
Now this is some fun equipment. I first tried a TENS machine when I was at The Peacock Parlour and I simply loved the sensations. Depending on the settings and where you place the electrodes, the sensations range from a deep tissue massage so someone tugging your muscles away! I also like that it has two ports, so you can share the experience with your play partner. This is not cheap, I know, but if sensation play is your thing, then you need this in your kit.
5. Cupping Set
My OH tried cupping with me a few months ago, and he really enjoyed it, so we decided to invest in our own set. I have used them in the past as I have bad shoulders and neck, so for me to have my own set at home was a no brainer. We did also get this book which is so informative, and I do strongly recommend you do some research as you can seriously cause damage if used incorrectly.
The cupping and TENS unit are very versatile as not only you can use them for their health benefits, but you can get really creative and do some great BDSM scenes with them. The cups are not expensive at all and we have put them to use more than once already, so we are so happy we got these.
So that was our BDSM mini haul. We are so happy with how our collection is growing and how varied it is becoming. We still have so many things we want to get, but this should get us busy for now.
