I’ve just had a look at my calendar and OMG this month is a busy one! Maybe it is just me trying to bulk up on events as I am away for most of June, or maybe every single event I like have decided to throw an event this month. Whatever the reason it may be, these are the events worth checking out if you fancy a night out but don’t know where.
Saturday 4th May
ByeByeBlues Spring Party
This is not a bdsm/fetish night but it is one organised by some of the most talented alternative people I have met so I know it will be twisted and dark in its own way. They are bringing the Scottish celebration of Beltane to a North London hairdressers so expect the unexpected. Oh, and they are giving complimentary absinthe. Do I need to say more? Sunday 5th May
L.A.M.
To continue with the Bank Holiday Mayhem and to turn the kink up a notch, there is no other place for a Sunday like L.A.M. (London Alternative Market). Held on the first Sunday of every month in the City, it is a fetish market by day and a social party by night. The quality and variety of the stalls are second to none, and you can test your new purchases at the after-party, so what’s not to like? I am in need of a new flogger so chances are you will see me at the market but maybe not at the after party. This is a very relaxed event, so fetish wear is encouraged but not enforced. Club Decadence
After buying all the goodies at L.A.M then you obviously need a kink party to test them all out. And what better place to do just that than at one of my favourite fetish events, Club Decadence. I honestly cannot believe they are back (they have been gone for quite a while) and they are in a new venue that promises to bring back all those good memories I have of Decadence. Expect lots of space to play, great music and even greater people. Tickets here.
Saturday 11th May
Torture Garden Brighton Mansion Ball
After all my less-than-positive reviews about TG, you may be wondering why on earth I am mentioning TG, but trust me when I say that the best parties are the ones outside of London. TG Edinburgh is my favourite by miles, but their Brighton Mansion Ball comes a close second. It is a much more intimate affair set in a very grand manor house. The parties are just a lot more filthy than the ones in London, and the people are just a beautiful. This is TG so of course make an effort with your outfits! Tickets are still available (how?!?!) and they are not cheap (as usual) but worth every penny. Tickets here.
From the Flames: Glamourama
If Brighton is too much of a hassle or simple too expensive, then don’t worry because I have you covered! From the Flames is having their 12th instalment on the same night and their theme this time around is Glamourama. Do I need to say more? Expect great music, great energy and a cosy venue that makes play that little more fun. The people behind this event are also really creative and the effort they make is incredible – the shows are amazing, the decor is amazing, and the outfits are also out of this world. Saturday 18th May
Club Sanctum
If I am in the mood for play only, then a few names comes to mind, Santum being one of them. Their events as more on the impact-play side of things, but their venue is very sultry and sensual. The music is always very good and never too loud so you can actually talk! Also, if you become a member (all you have to do is sign up for their newsletter, and don’t worry, then don’t spam you) then tickets are less than £12 which is a bargain. Definitely a place to check out. Info here.
Klub Verboten
If what you fancy is some good techno and a Berlin-esque party with an industrial feel, then Verboten is the place to be. Their dungeon is also one of the best, if not the best, in the kink party scene so you get the best of both worlds. I have talked about them extensively so that is all I will say here. You do need to become a member or go with someone who is a member. More info on their website.

Club Anti-Christ – 15th Birthday Party Special
If you are still partying with me by this stage, then you are even more hard-core than I thought! If you have read my blog then you know that AC has a soft spot in my heart and it is one of my favourite bdsm events. It is not perfect, but it is special in its own way. Also, they play industrial and that is a rarity these days. They have a nice variety of music and a decent sized dungeon, where the focus is impact play. More info on their website.

Club Pedestal
I wrote a review not too long ago, so you can check it here – but basically this is heaven on earth. The best sub men you can find, with the best femdoms in the scene, all nicely wrapped in a nice dungeon where you can partake in a variety of play. It is on a Thursday night, which is such an inconvenience, but it is totally worth it. More info on here.
