As you can see, I am in blogging heaven and actually writing quite a few posts at the moment, so without delay, let’s get into my new beauty loves:
1. MAC ‘s 3D Extreme Dimension Mascara
This is another duty free buy from my last trip to Florence where the sales assistant knew I was buying pretty much everything and she was using that to her advantage. However, I am sooo glad she did as this is THE BEST MASCARA EVER. Yes, I’ve said it, it is better than Benefit’s They Are Real Mascara so there you go. It has the same kind of brush as Benefit’s and it also requires for the formula to dry off for a week or so before it becomes perfect, but once this is done, OMG it is heaven. It curls while adding length and volume and there is no smudge at all, not even after 8 hours of wear. The best part? It can be removed easily with any oil based cleanser or even Bio Derma. Yup, nothing like Benefit’s counterpart which literally leaves me with a few less eyelashes after I try to clean it off my face.
2. Kiss Mix by Eve Lom
This was given to me as a Christmas gift by a colleague and I must say that I feel like she has changed my life completely by introducing me to this product. The first thing I noticed when I applied this product was that it has a generous amount of menthol which made my lips tingle a bit at first. However, that tingling turned my lips into the softest they have been. I usually use either Maybelline or Vaseline but with both I have always felt that they only work when applied, which results in me constantly applying lip balm. With this baby you don’t have to as it leaves your lips soft longer after the product has been applied. The brand is available at Space NK and it is £16 so sadly it is not a cheap buy (for a lip balm). Having said so, I know I will be repurchasing this.
3. Bobby Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation with SPF15
I have spoken about this baby in my previous post but I feel like it needs another mention because it is that good! It has finally replaced my beloved Double Wear and I couldn’t be happier. Having said this, last week I was in Spain (as you do!) and I did notice that this foundation may be a tad too drying for some people. Whenever I am in Spain, my skin loses some of its moisturise so whenever I used this foundation I had to use an extra thick cream underneath.
4. Maxfactor Colour Elixir Lipgloss in Lustrous Sand
I love lipgloss. This is a fact. I have so many scattered around so many handbags/drawers that I honestly cannot even count them. Every time I enter a Boots or Superdrug I end up buying one. Every.Single.Time. So if I say this is my new favourite, then you know that this gloss is truly a good one. The best part for me is the colour which is a perfect nude for my complexion. The formula is a bit sticky but it does last quite a few hours. It also costs under a tenner at £7.99 so what is not to like?
Until Next Time!
