New Favourite!

Hello Ladies, it has been a while, huh? Can you believe Xmas is coming? Me neither!

Anyways, for the past few weeks, I have been on the lookout for a new face cream as my Liz Earle was running out and for some reason I didn’t feel like spending £15 on a face cream again (I already spend that much on their Cleanse & Polish). So, I went on the hunt for the next best thing.

My face is combination/oily skin, so I need a cream that is able to give me enough moisture without making me look shiny. Liz Earle’s face cream is amazing at doing so, as it leaves my skin feeling baby soft for the entire day without ever producing extra oiliness.

I have been testing a few creams, and this is by far the best of the bunch:

This is from Boot’s own Botanics range which is their organic/natural/all things good range. I have tried their gentle eye make remover which was the WORSE THING IN HISTORY as it made my eyes burn like I was going blind. NO joke! But this is on another level altogether.

First of all, it has SPF 15 which is amazing (it protects against UBV and UVA light so its really good), it really doesn’t smell of anything other than cream, and it feels extremely light. It’s made with marshmallows which to be honest I don’t know exactly why, but all I can say is that this even better than Liz Earle’s face cream. It absorbs quickly enough while allowing you to give your face a good massage for a few seconds before it totally absorbs, leaving your skin feeling amazing.  Also it retails at £6.99 which makes it a really affordable cream. What’s not to like?

In this range, they also have creams for oily skin and mature skin, so it will be good to know if this is just the gem of the range of whether the other potions are just as good.

Have you tried it? If so, what are your thoughts?
