So I know July its almost over and this should really be a July favourites, but I photographed these babies in June so it is only fair to describe them as June favourites. Better late than never, huh?
June was an amazing month, being my birthday month and the month where I went away for 2 amazing weeks and got married (pictures to come next week). As I spent half of the month away, I didn’t really use much products, as I hate having a full face of make up while I am in the sun.
Having said so, these were my saviors in the month of June:
Starting on the left and moving clock-wise, we have Avene Eau Thermale which is a fine mist and a must-have when you are on holidays. My Hubs had the brilliant idea of leaving it in the fridge which made it soo refreshing to use while on the beach. Then we have a clay mask, because I am tired of always buying individual 99p ones from Superdrug/Boots so I bought an actual tub of the stuff. Its actually from Superdrug’s own brand and this particular one has aloe vera. It cleans your face leaving it soft but not dry.
Then we have Soap & Glory body butter (travel size for my handbag). This cream is the staff of gods, I swear. Its thick but non-greasy, it moisturizes and it smells like Miss Dior. Do I need to say more?
In the middle we have some oval hoops from Primark. They cost £1.50 and they are extremely well made, in the sense that I have swam/slept/danced/ran with them and they are still looking good.
Moving on we have Jean Paul Gaultier’s classic perfume, and that is just a given. Then we have a Nails Inc for InStyle which is a lovely pale opaque pink. If only they did this colour as part of their original collection..but noooo that would be too easy, right!!
The next product is my dupe of BioDerma and it is by Garnier. Its a mix of an oil and water so you have to shake it. It takes all your make up effortlessly but it does leave a thin film on your skin, which I particularly don’t mind, but if you do, then spend the extra cash and go for BioDerma. If you are like me and like cheap and cheerful, then this is for you!
Last, we have They’re Real Mascara. Amazing. Holy Status.Enough Said.
So those were my June favourites. Until next month,
